Asferic-XT Capsule 10's

Asferic-XT Capsule 10's is used in the treatment of Anaemia. The detailed uses of Asferic-XT Capsule 10's are as follows:

• Iron-Deficiency Anemia: Asferic-XT Capsule 10's replenishes iron stores and boosts hemoglobin production and supports oxygen transport throughout the body.
• Pregnancy & Lactation Support: Asferic-XT Capsule 10's prevents anemia in mothers, supports fetal brain and spinal cord development and aids in protein synthesis for fetal growth.

• Asferic-XT Capsule 10's contains Elemental iron, folic acid (a form of vitamin B9) and Glycine.
• Elemental iron and folic acid increase red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBC are produced in the body so that each tissue in the body gets a sufficient supply of oxygen.
• Folic acid is necessary in pregnancy as it plays a role in the development of the brain and spinal cord in the unborn baby.
• Glycine is an amino acid that is used to synthesise proteins in the body. Additionally, it is also necessary for the healthy development of muscles, tissues and skeleton.

• Asferic-XT Capsule 10's can be taken on an empty stomach, usually 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, for better absorption. However, avoid taking it with coffee, tea, or dairy products, as they may reduce its absorption.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Asferic-XT Capsule 10's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open it.

• Eat a healthy diet, especially green leafy vegetables, and do regular physical exercise.
• Limit junk food items from the outside and stick to freshly prepared home-cooked meals.
• Increase the intake of fruits in your diet, especially fruits rich in iron, like pomegranate, and citrus fruits.

• If you are about to undergo any laboratory tests for vitamin B12 deficiency, inform the lab technician that you are taking Asferic-XT Capsule 10's, as folic acid in Asferic-XT Capsule 10's may alter test results.
• You are recommended to avoid alcohol consumption with Asferic-XT Capsule 10's as it may reduce the absorption of Asferic-XT Capsule 10's.
