Asferic-XT Capsule 10's is used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) that occurs due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Also, Asferic-XT Capsule 10's is used to treat anaemia during pregnancy and lactation.

Asferic-XT Capsule 10's is a combination of elemental iron, folic acid and glycine. Elemental iron and folic acid work by increasing red blood cell (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. Glycine is used to synthesise proteins in the body.

In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, stomach upset, or dark-colored stool. Most of these side effects of Asferic-XT Capsule 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Asferic-XT Capsule 10's can be taken on an empty stomach, usually 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals, for better absorption. However, avoid taking it with coffee, tea, or dairy products, as they may reduce its absorption.
