Smidol Drops is used to alleviate infant colic, griping pain, and flatulence in children. Colic pain/abdominal pain occurs between the chest and pelvic regions. A gripping pain is a sudden, sharp pain in your stomach or bowels. Flatulence is the accumulation of gas in the alimentary canal.
Smidol Drops contains Dil oil, fennel oil and simethicone. Simethicone breaks down gas bubbles and allows for simple gas transit. Dill oil and fennel oil assist in pushing food through the digestive tract by increasing stomach and bowel motility and relieving gut muscular spasms.
Smidol Drops is for paediatric use only. In some cases, your child may experience certain common side effects, such as bloating, heartburn, dizziness, diarrhoea and constipation. Most of these side effects resolve on their own. If these side effects persist, stop using this medicine and contact your doctor immediately.
Before using Smidol Drops, please inform the doctor of your children's medical conditions, sensitivities, and all drugs they are taking. Continue using Smidol Drops for as long as the doctor has prescribed it to treat your child's illness effectively.
