Spirex Forte Tablet is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies, primarily for various conditions caused by hypocalcaemia (low blood calcium levels). The detailed uses of Spirex Forte Tablet are as follows:

• Treats Nutritional Deficiencies: Spirex Forte Tablet helps correct deficiencies of calcium, zinc, and vitamin D, which are essential for bone and body health.
• Prevents or Treats Hypocalcaemia: Spirex Forte Tablet helps restore calcium levels in the blood, which are necessary for bone formation and maintenance.
• Manages Osteoporosis: Spirex Forte Tablet strengthens bones by improving calcium absorption and bone mineral density, thereby reducing the risk of fractures.
• Manages Osteomalacia and Rickets: Spirex Forte Tablet helps treat and prevent soft or weak bones by maintaining blood calcium and phosphorus levels, and supporting proper bone growth and mineralisation in children (rickets) and adults (osteomalacia).
• Manages Vitamin D deficiency: Spirex Forte Tablet replenishes low vitamin D levels, which aids in calcium absorption, enabling bone growth and repair.

Spirex Forte Tablet is used to treat low blood calcium levels. It consists of Elemental Calcium (mineral), Vitamin D3, and Elemental Zinc. Elemental Calcium is a mineral used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients required for bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin D3 helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and the mineralization of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. It also aids in calcium absorption enabling bone growth and repair. It further prevents cartilage degeneration. Elemental Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. 

• Spirex Forte Tablet can be taken with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Spirex Forte Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese or milk-based custard in your diet.

• Eat daily a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, spinach and other green leafy vegetables.

• Include the best dietary sources of vitamin D, such as fish liver oils and vitamin D–fortified milk.

• Snack on calcium-rich nuts like Brazil nuts or almonds. 

• Sprinkle sesame seeds over your food, vegetables and salads. Sesame seeds are high in calcium.

• Avoid or reduce the intake of caffeine, soft drinks and alcohol as they may inhibit calcium absorption.

• Replace the meat with tofu or tempeh for extra calcium in your food.
