About Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's

Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medicines called 'nutritional supplements' used to treat joint problems. Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's is recommended for the maintenance of joints, muscles, cartilage, the integrity of joints, bone health, joint pain, arthritic pain, stiffness, low back pain, tendonitis or tendinopathy (tendon pain). Joint pain refers to the discomfort, pain, stiffness and soreness in the joints. 

Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's contains Collagen, Sodium hyaluronate, Chondroitin sulphate, and Ascorbic acid. Collagen helps regenerate cartilage, thereby providing strength to the bones and improving joints' flexibility. Sodium hyaluronate is similar to the joints' fluid; this acts as a lubricant in the joints and prevents friction between the joints. Chondroitin sulphate prevents the breakdown of collagen tissue in the joints. Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) acts as an antioxidant that helps the synthesis of new collagen fibres and new blood vessel formation and promotes healing at the joint site. Together, Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's relieves pain and stiffness in the joints. 

You are advised to take Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as heartburn, stomach pain, headache, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

What if I have taken an overdose of Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's

Drug Warnings

Do not take Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Inform your doctor if you have impaired kidney or liver function, high blood pressure, heart problems, asthma, or diabetes. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 12 years of age, as its safety and effectiveness have not been established.   • Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help reduce inflammation and swelling.
  • De-stress yourself by meditating, reading books, taking a warm bubble bath or listening to soothing music.
  • Acupuncture, massage and physical therapy may also be helpful.
  • Eat food rich in antioxidants such as berries, spinach, kidney beans, dark chocolate, etc.
  • Foods containing flavonoids help in reducing inflammation. These include soy, berries, broccoli, grapes and green tea.
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

Pain killers relieve pain by blocking the pain signals but do not correct the basic problem such as degeneration of the joints. Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's contains collagen, which is the main building protein in bone, cartilage, and other connective tissues. Sodium hyaluronate and chondroitin sulphate help in reducing inflammation. Ascorbic acid has an antioxidant property which is required by the body to make collagen. Together, Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's helps in healing the joints and also provides relief from pain.

Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Arthritis is the tenderness and swelling in the joints.

Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's is used to treat tendon pain in tendonitis and tendinopathy. Tendonitis or tendinopathy occurs due to repetitive mechanical load on the tendons leading to degeneration and inflammation of tendons, often due to athletic activities.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Supcol-T2 Tablet 10's. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in stools (tarry stools) or if you experience severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.
