Suppol 250 Suppository is used to treat mild to moderate pain and fever in adults and children weighing at least 7kgs. Pain and fever are caused by the activation of pain receptors due to the release of certain natural chemicals in the body like prostaglandins. 

Suppol 250 Suppository contains 'Paracetamol' which prevents the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Thus, relieves pain. Suppol 250 Suppository also acts as an antipyretic agent by affecting the chemical messengers in the brain that regulate body temperature. Thereby, reduces fever.

Not everyone who is taking Suppol 250 Suppository will get these side effects. In some cases, Suppol 250 Suppository may cause side effects like rash, soreness in or around the rectum/anus, and itching. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if these side effects persist, please consult a doctor.
