To help dissolve and pass it, your doctor may recommend: 1. Hydration: Drink 2-3 litres of water daily to flush the system. 2. Alkalizing Agents: Potassium citrate can raise your urine pH, which directly helps dissolve uric acid stones. 3. Alpha-blockers: Generic tamsulosin relaxes the urinary tract to help the stone pass more easily. 4. Uric Acid Lowering Meds: Allopurinol can help lower your high uric acid levels.
