Happi-IT Capsule is used to treat GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease), and peptic ulcers.
Happi-IT Capsule is a combination of two drugs: Rabeprazole and Itopride. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), that works by blocking the action of an enzyme called gastric proton pump, which is responsible for the production of acid. It minimizes the release of acid from the stomach, which provides relief from heartburn and acid-related digestion. While Itopride works on the part of the brain responsible for controlling vomiting. It increases gastric emptying and improves gastric sensitivity and tension by increasing the movement of the stomach and intestines in the upper digestive tract. It also has antiemetic action. Together, Happi-IT Capsule helps prevent acid reflux and provide relief from acidity.
Talk to your doctor if you do not feel better even after taking Happi-IT Capsule for 14 days. Do not take Happi-IT Capsule for longer durations unless prescribed by the doctor.
Diarrhea might be a side-effect of Happi-IT Capsule . Drink enough fluids and eat fibre-rich food if you experience diarrhea. If you find blood in your stools (tarry stools) or if you experience excess diarrhea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.
Avoid or limit the consumption of alcohol while taking Happi-IT Capsule as it may lead to increased dizziness. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.

Happi-IT Capsule may cause dizziness as a side effect. If you feel dizzy after taking Happi-IT Capsule , avoid driving or using machinery until you feel alert again. If the dizziness continues, please contact your doctor.
Happi-IT Capsule contains rabeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor), which may increase the risk of fractures, particularly of the hip, wrist, and spine, when used long-term or in multiple daily doses, especially in older adults. This is primarily due to reduced calcium absorption. If you are using Happi-IT Capsule for an extended period, monitor your bone health regularly (e.g., calcium levels, bone density) and talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Happi-IT Capsule is not usually known to affect your ability to drive. However, if you experience side effects like dizziness or drowsiness after taking Happi-IT Capsule , it is best to avoid driving.
Happi-IT Capsule should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it out of reach of children.
