Lobazam 5 Tablet is used to treat epilepsy (fits) and severe anxiety over a short period. Also, it is used in combination with other medicines to treat schizophrenia (a mental illness). It prevents fits by stabilizing the electrical activity of nerve cells in the brain. Also, it calms nerve cells and helps in reducing anxiety and induces sleep. Some people may experience side effects such as restlessness, irritability, drowsiness, constipation, aggressive behaviour, tiredness or breathing problems. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
