Pezlor-1 Tablet 10's is used to treat epilepsy (status epilepticus) and anxiety disorder. It may be prescribed as short-term therapy for sleeping difficulties due to anxiety. It may also be used as a sedative prior to surgery. It contains Lorazepam, which works by increasing levels of the calming chemical in the brain; this helps relieve anxiety, stops seizure attacks (fits) and relaxes the tense muscles. It may cause common side effects such as sleepiness, tiredness, muscle weakness and problems with coordination. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
