Valeptol Oral Solution 200 ml is used to treat epilepsy/seizures/fits. Additionally, it is also used to treat bipolar disorder and prevent symptoms of migraine (like a headache). It contains Sodium valproate, which decreases the excessive and abnormal nerve activity in the brain. Thereby, helps in controlling seizures. It helps block the nerve transmission across the brain and provides a calming effect. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, tremors, tiredness, sleepiness, headache, weight gain, and hair loss. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
