Directions for Use
- First, ensure you thoroughly wash the feeding bottle or bowl, nipple, cap and all utensils that will be used in preparing the feed.
- Rinse off any soap from the utensils, and then boil them for 5 minutes to ensure they're completely clean.
- Separately, heat some water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and then allow it to cool to a lukewarm temperature.
- Into a sterilised feeding bottle or bowl, pour the correct amount of the lukewarm water that you previously boiled.
- Next, fill the enclosed scoop that comes with the Similac Neosure powder. Level off the scoop with the straight edge of a knife to ensure you have the correct amount.
- To every 30 ml of water in the bottle or bowl, add one level enclosed scoop (approximately 5.5g) of the powder.
- Mix until the powder is thoroughly dissolved in the water.
- Test the temperature of the prepared feed and if suitable, you can then feed it to your baby. Remember to discard any unused formula within 1 hour after feeding.
