  • Other Blood Thinners and NSAIDs: Taking Abaxis 5 Tablet with blood thinners such as heparin or warfarin, aspirin, or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen may significantly increase the risk of bleeding.
  • Certain Antifungal Medicines: Medicines such as ketoconazole may increase Abaxis 5 Tablet levels in the body and raise the risk of bleeding.
  • Certain Seizure Medicines and St. John's Wort: Medicines such as carbamazepine and herbal products containing St. John's Wort may reduce the effectiveness of Abaxis 5 Tablet and increase the risk of blood clots.

Mifepristone and Abaxis 5 Tablet co-administration have been associated with more severe vaginal bleeding in women.

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Abaxis 5 Tablet with Mifepristone together is not generally recommended as it may lead to an interaction, but it can be taken if prescribed by a doctor.
