Cremagel H Cream is used in the treatment of anal fissures (small tear in the anus lining), fistula (abnormal skin opening near the anus) and piles (inflamed and swollen veins in the rectum). It prevents bacterial infection caused due to exposed skin surface of the anus and it forms a protective layer over the affected area of skin, thereby preventing pain, burning sensation and inflammation in the anus. Thus, it promotes the healing of fissures, helps in forming new healthy skin and minimises infection and pain around the anal canal. It may cause side effects such as skin rash, mild irritation, tingling or burning sensation. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about pre-existing medical conditions.
