Creon 10000 Capsule is used for the treatment of exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (pancreatin enzyme deficiency) due to cystic fibrosis (an inherited disorder that damages the lungs and digestive system), chronic pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), or other conditions. It contains Pancreatin, which helps in the digestion of food. In some cases, it may cause certain common side effects such as nausea, mild stomach pain, diarrhoea, and mild skin rash. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

I had sex with an unknown person two days ago, tested p24 and VDRL, and the result was non-reactive. Can I take Duovir for 30 days? I have pancreatitis and am currently on Creon 1000 and Antoxid HC.

A non-reactive test at 2 days is too early to rule out infection. Post-exposure treatment may be needed, but should only be started after medical evaluation, especially with a history of pancreatitis. Consult a doctor immediately to assess risk and safety, and determine the appropriate next steps.

He has painful pancreatic stones with frequent vomiting. He is using Creon 1000 and Omega-3. Please advise.
