Yes, the swelling in both legs can indeed be a side effect of his medications. Specifically, ESLO (S-amlodipine) is very well-known for causing fluid retention and leg swelling. PREMIPEX (pramipexole) can also contribute to this. While this is a common and manageable reaction, it is very important to discuss this with his doctor. Please do not stop or change any of his medications, especially DEPLATT A or QUITIPIN, without medical guidance. His physician can easily evaluate his blood pressure and safely adjust his treatment to help reduce the swelling.
