Halotop-F Cream is used to treat bacterial skin infections, such as eczema and dermatitis. It contains Halobetasol and Fusidic acid, which blocks prostaglandins (chemical messengers) production, responsible for making the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. It effectively treats inflammation and itchiness caused by eczema (inflamed and itchy skin) and psoriasis (skin cells build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches). Also, it stops the growth of bacteria. It has common side effects like itching, dryness, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site. Before using this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
