Lorfast Meltab Tablet is used to relieve the symptoms of allergies such as hay fever, conjunctivitis (red, itchy eyes), eczema, hives (urticaria), reactions to insect bites and stings, and some food allergies. It contains Loratadine, which reduces the effects of histamine, a natural chemical that triggers allergy symptoms. It may cause side effects such as drowsiness or sleepiness, headaches, fatigue, and nervousness. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Lorfast Meltab Tablet contains Loratadine, a second-generation antihistamine that is designed to be non-drowsy for most people. Unlike older allergy medications, it does not easily cross into the brain, so it is unlikely to cause daytime sleepiness or reduce alertness. However, a small number of individuals may still experience mild drowsiness, especially when starting treatment. If you feel sleepy, avoid driving or other tasks that require alertness, and consult a doctor if it persists.

I have sinusitis and am currently taking Lorfast and Solvin syrup. Can you recommend a permanent solution?
