Prescription Medicine

Numlo-D 5 Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains S-Amlodipine and Hydrochlorothiazide, which works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels. Also, it helps to remove extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Thus, it lowers high blood pressure and reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke. It may cause side effects such as ankle swelling, sleepiness, headache (sense of heat in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), flushing, tiredness, nausea, and decreased potassium level in the blood. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Also, grapefruit and its products may slightly increase plasma concentrations of Numlo-D 5 Tablet. Avoid consuming Calcium-containing products, grapefruit and its products while being treated with Numlo-D 5 Tablet.
