Even with clear scans, the original stroke can disrupt the communication between your brain and muscles, causing them to tighten. Your daily medicine, Preva AS 75 (aspirin), is excellent for preventing clots but does not treat muscle tightness. I highly recommend asking your doctor about physical therapy and gentle stretching exercises, which can greatly help relax these muscles.
