Stodil Tablet 10's

Stodil Tablet is used to treat diarrhoea. It is also indicated in the treatment of diarrhoea associated with inflammatory bowel disease and in reducing the volume of discharge resulting from an ileostomy (surgical opening in the abdominal wall). It contains Loperamide, which works by slowing down an overactive bowel. This allows water and salts that are usually lost in diarrhoea to be absorbed by the body. Thereby, it helps treat diarrhoea. It may cause common side effects such as headache, nausea, and constipation. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
