SYNDOPA 275MG TABLET is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It contains Levodopa and Carbidopa, which help to control movement. It may cause common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, light-headedness, lowered blood pressure, confusion, and dyskinesia (uncontrolled/involuntary muscle movement).   • Inform your doctor about dizziness symptoms. They may adjust your medication regimen or prescribe additional medications to manage symptoms.

Drug-Drug Interaction: SYNDOPA 275MG TABLET may have interactions with other antiparkinson’s drugs (rasagiline, pramipexole), water pills or diuretics (furosemide), high cholesterol-lowering drugs (atorvastatin), vitamins (pyridoxine), and antipsychotic drugs (quetiapine).

Drug-Food Interaction: SYNDOPA 275MG TABLET may interact with proteins in the food. Therefore, avoid intake of high-protein foods such as chicken, beef, pork, eggs, and fish, as they may reduce the effectiveness of SYNDOPA 275MG TABLET. Do not take vitamin supplements with SYNDOPA 275MG TABLET unless prescribed by a doctor. Also, avoid alcohol intake as it may increase side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, or difficulty concentrating.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have glaucoma, asthma, nausea, dizziness, mental illness, breathing problems, daytime sleepiness, or involuntary muscle movements, inform your doctor before taking SYNDOPA 275MG TABLET.

Taking Tranylcypromine with Levodopa can increase the risk of high blood pressure

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Levodopa with Tranylcypromine is not recommended, but can be taken together if prescribed by a doctor. However, consult a doctor if you experience severe headache, blurred vision, confusion, seizures, chest pain, nausea or vomiting, sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body), speech difficulties, fever, sweating, lightheadedness and fainting. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting your doctor.

Using levodopa together with linezolid can increase blood pressure and increase the risk of side effects.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between linezolid and levodopa, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by a doctor.
