Drug-Drug Interactions: Taking Corcell Tablet with the following medication classes may cause adverse reactions.

  • Antibiotic (tetracycline, doxycycline)
    • Potential effect: May reduce the effectiveness of antibiotics.
  • Water pills (hydrochlorothiazide)
    • Potential effect: May cause increased calcium levels (hypercalcemia).
  • Medicine used to treat irregular heart rhythm (digoxin)
    • Potential effect: May increase the risk of digoxin toxicity.
  • Drugs used for fits (phenytoin, carbamazepine)
    • Potential effect: May interfere with the absorption of calcium/phenytoin.

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid spinach, rhubarb, bran, and whole grains with Corcell Tablet as they may reduce the absorption of calcium.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have a history of the following conditions before taking Corcell Tablet , as it may worsen your condition or cause complications.

  • High calcium levels in blood or urine
  • Severe kidney problems
  • Kidney stones, or galactosemia (a rare genetic disorder).

How does the drug interact with Corcell Tablet:
Co-administration of Corcell Tablet with Ketoconazole may decrease the effects of Ketoconazole.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is an interaction, Corcell Tablet can be taken with Ketoconazole if prescribed by the doctor. However, maintain a gap of 2 or more hours between both medicines. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
How does the drug interact with Corcell Tablet:
Co-administration of Corcell Tablet may interfere with the absorption of Raltegravir and reduce its effectiveness.

How to manage the interaction:
Taking Corcell Tablet with Raltegravir should be avoided. Consult the doctor if you have any concerns, the doctor may recommend alternatives that do not interact with raltegravir. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.

Co-administration of Dolutegravir with Corcell Tablet can reduce the effectiveness of dolutegravir.
