Candid B Lotion 30 ml is a combination medicine used in the treatment of fungal skin infections such as tinea pedis or athlete's foot, tinea cruris or jock itch, and tinea corporis. It works by inhibiting the fungal cell membrane and thereby kills the infection-causing fungus. Common side effects include itching, redness, dryness, burning and stinging sensation at the site of application. It is an external preparation. Hence avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose and mouth.

You should switch to a medicated shampoo containing salicylic acid, ketoconazole, or zinc pyrithione, as medicated face washes are not designed to penetrate the hair and scalp effectively.
