New Castor-NF Cream is a combination medicine used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria or fungi, including ringworm infection, jock itch, athlete’s foot, rosacea, psoriasis, etc. New Castor-NF Cream contains Metronidazole (antibiotic), Terbinafine (anti-fungal), Clobetasol (steroid) and Ciprofloxacin (antibiotic). Metronidazole kills microorganisms by damaging their DNA. Ciprofloxacin prevents the bacteria from reproducing and repairing themselves. Clobetasol inhibits the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Terbinafine kills the fungi by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering.
