Coversyl AM 4/5 Tablet 10's

Coversyl AM 4/5 Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains Amlodipine and Perindopril, which relax and widen the blood vessels, so that blood passes through them easily, thereby lowering the blood pressure and making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. Thus, it lowers high blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart attack or stroke. It may cause side effects such as ankle swelling, tiredness, headache, palpitations (irregular heartbeat), sleepiness, the increased potassium level in the blood, cough, flushing (sense of heat in the face, ears, neck, and trunk), taste change, decreased blood pressure, and upset stomach. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Pregnancy can be higher risk with high blood pressure, especially while taking these medicines. Some BP tablets are not suitable during pregnancy and may need to be changed. It is important to plan pregnancy only after proper medical review and control of blood pressure.
