Perindosyl-Am 4/5Mg Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a medical condition in which the blood exerts high pressure (force exerted by circulating blood) against the walls of the blood vessels. Hypertension can cause severe health complications, including stroke, heart failure, heart attack and kidney failure.
Perindosyl-Am 4/5Mg Tablet contains Amlodipine and Perindopril. Amlodipine relaxes blood vessels, so that blood passes through them easily, thereby lowering the blood pressure. Perindopril relaxes and widens the blood vessels.
You may experience certain side effects like ankle swelling, tiredness, headache, palpitations (irregular heartbeat), sleepiness, cough, flushing, taste change, and upset stomach. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention. However, talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Do not stop taking Perindosyl-Am 4/5Mg Tablet without consulting your doctor, since it may worsen your condition and increase the risk of future heart problems.
