Ebast-M Tablet is used to treat allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, congestion, and watery eyes. It contains Ebastine and Montelukast, which block the action of chemical messengers (histamine and leukotriene). Thus, it reduces allergy symptoms and inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose. In some cases, it may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, dry mouth, headache, sleepiness, and abdominal pain. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Ebast-M Tablet may interact with medicines used to treat epilepsy (e.g. phenobarbital and phenytoin), medicines used to treat tuberculosis (e.g. rifampicin), and medicines used to treat high-cholesterol (e.g. gemfibrozil).

How does the drug interact with Ebast-M Tablet:
Co-administration of Miconazole with Ebast-M Tablet may increase the blood levels of Ebast-M Tablet.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between miconazole and Ebast-M Tablet, you can take these medicines together if prescribed by a doctor. However, if you experience any symptoms such as fever, sore throat, cough, stomach pain, loose stools, ear pain, runny nose, confusion, difficulty concentrating, anxiety, hallucinations (to hear voices or see objects that no one could do), irritability, restlessness, sleep walking, Consult a doctor immediately. Do not stop using medications without a doctor's advice.
