Erdomac 300 Capsule 10's is used to treat the symptoms of worsening short, severe chronic bronchitis episodes. It contains Erdosteine, a mucolytic agent (cough/sputum thinner). It works by modulating the sputum viscosity in the respiratory tract, making it more fluid and less thick, increasing the mucociliary rate and allowing mucus removal from the respiratory tract. Common side effects of this medication may include epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, taste changes, and heartburn.
