Gestin Tablet is used to prevent premature labour. It contains Allylestrenol which works by modulating the immune response of the pregnant women to prevent rejection of the embryo, allowing its attachment to the uterus and improving blood flow to the placenta. This medicine may sometimes cause side effects such as changes in weight, unwanted hair growth, menstrual disturbances, swelling, fever, headache, and fatigue.
