Librax Tablet is used in the treatment of peptic ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and enterocolitis (swelling in the intestine). It contains Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium, which decrease stomach acid production. Also, it decreases the abnormal activity in the brain and provides a calming effect and relaxing muscles. Thus, it helps to provide relief from stomach spasms and cramps. It may cause side effects such as dry mouth, blurred vision, constipation, nausea, bloating, urination problems, drowsiness, dizziness, rash, swelling, irregular menstrual periods, and increased or decreased libido (sexual desire). Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

If you are taking Librax, continuing magnesium glycinate is generally acceptable, but to ensure safety and effectiveness, take the supplement and Librax a few hours apart to avoid affecting Librax absorption.
