Nausea, a runny nose, a feeling of heat in the breath, and constipation can occur due to several common conditions, such as a viral infection, allergy, acidity, indigestion, dehydration, or changes in diet and routine. Sometimes an upper respiratory infection or allergy can cause nasal symptoms along with a general feeling of body warmth or irritation in the throat and breath. Constipation and nausea may also happen together if you are not drinking enough fluids, eating irregularly, consuming low-fibre food, or experiencing stress. In some people, acidity or stomach-related problems can also cause nausea and a warm or burning sensation in the chest or throat area. The best approach is to take adequate rest, drink plenty of water, and eat light, healthy meals such as fruits, soups, rice, curd, vegetables, and fibre-rich foods to improve digestion and bowel movements. Warm fluids and steam inhalation may help relieve nasal symptoms. Avoid very oily, spicy, or junk foods, and try to maintain regular sleep and meal timings. Mild constipation often improves with increased water intake, fruits, salads, and physical activity such as walking. However, if you develop a high fever, severe abdominal pain, vomiting, breathing difficulty, chest pain, bloody stools, or if symptoms continue for several days, it is important to consult a doctor for proper evaluation. Persistent constipation or repeated nausea may sometimes need further medical assessment to identify the exact cause.
