About Topcid 40 Tablet

Topcid 40 Tablet is used to reduce stomach acid production. It treats stomach ulcers (gastric and duodenal ulcers), reflux oesophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Stomach ulcers are painful sores present on the inner lining of the stomach.

Topcid 40 Tablet contains Famotidine, which reduces acid production and gastric secretions, thereby improving symptoms and condition.

Sometimes, you may experience headaches, dizziness, constipation, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, contact your doctor.

Topcid 40 Tablet is not recommended for use in children and breastfeeding mothers. Do not take Topcid 40 Tablet if you are allergic to famotidine, other H2 receptor antagonists, or any of the ingredients. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
