About Trihex Tablet

Trihex Tablet is used alone or with other medications to treat Parkinson’s disease (a brain disorder that affects movements) and extrapyramidal symptoms (drug-induced movement disorders).

Trihex Tablet contains Trihexyphenidyl, which works by relaxing muscles and regulating the nerve impulses that control muscle function. It also restores balance among brain chemicals (neurotransmitters), thereby improving muscle control and reducing stiffness and tremors, thereby helping the body move more smoothly.

Take Trihex Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow it whole with a glass of water, and do not crush or chew it. In some cases, Trihex Tablet may cause common side effects, including nausea, vomiting, dizziness, constipation, weakness, headache, dry mouth, decreased urination, drowsiness, and nervousness or restlessness. Please consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.
