About Albucid 10% Eye Drops
Albucid 10% Eye Drops belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections. Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.
Albucid 10% Eye Drops contains Sulfacetamide which works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow and multiply. Thereby, Albucid 10% Eye Drops stops the growth of bacteria causing an eye infection.
