About Anafortan Syrup
Anafortan Syrup is a combination drug primarily used to treat abdominal pain (stomach ache) in infants and children. A stomach ache is an ache localized in the stomach or abdominal region.
Anafortan Syrup contains Camylofin and Paracetamol. Camylofin efficiently relieves abdominal pain and cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and gut. Paracetamol inhibits specific chemical messengers that induce pain and fever.
Anafortan Syrup is for paediatric use only. Give Anafortan Syrup to children as advised by the doctor. Anafortan Syrup may cause some common side effects such as irregular heartbeat, dry mouth, excessive thirst, difficulty in urination, constipation or flushing (sense of warmth in the ears, face, neck and trunk). Most of the side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, contact your paediatrician.
If your child is allergic to any food or medicine, inform your doctor. Also, tell your child's entire medical history, including ongoing medications, to avoid unwanted effects and possible interactions. Do not give more than the prescribed dose. Do not use other cough medicines unless prescribed by the doctor.
