About Apxenta Tablet 10's

Apxenta Tablet 10's belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitors. It is used to treat Plaque psoriasis (scaly, itchy, and red patches on the skin), psoriasis arthritis (inflammation in the joints in people with psoriasis), and oral ulcers. Psoriasis is a chronic, painful, nontransmissible, deactivating and damaging disease. It can happen at any age and is most common in the age group 50 to 69. Psoriatic arthritis is a type of arthritis that some people with psoriasis experience.

Apxenta Tablet 10's contains Apremilast, a phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor. Apxenta Tablet 10's works by blocking the action of some chemical messengers that are responsible for inflammation related to psoriatic arthritis (inflammation in the joints in people with psoriasis) and psoriasis (scaly, itchy, and red patches on the skin), and thus, lowers the signs and symptoms of these conditions.

Take Apxenta Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Apxenta Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, weight loss, and back pain. Most of these side effects of Apxenta Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Apxenta Tablet 10's should not be taken in the conditions like depression as it is getting worse with thoughts of suicide. Before starting Apxenta Tablet 10's, please inform your doctor if you have any allergy to Apxenta Tablet 10's and its part. Apxenta Tablet 10's is used in treating psoriatic arthritis; it decreases pain and swelling and may help improve flexibility in the affected joints. It is also used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis (skin disease causes red, scaly patches to form on some areas of the body) in people who may benefit from medications). It is used to treat ulcers in the mouth in persons with Behcet's syndrome (a disease that results from blood vessel swelling in the body). Apxenta Tablet 10's works by blocking the action of some chemical messengers responsible for inflammation related to psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis, thus lowering the signs and symptoms of these conditions.

Directions for Use

Take Apxenta Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor determines the dose of the medicine based on your condition. Take Apxenta Tablet 10's with or without food. Swallow the Apxenta Tablet 10's as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.
