Cognialfa-Ds Tablet 10's contains an alpha-ketoanalogue DS, which prevents unnecessary increases in blood urea levels caused by the intake of non-essential amino acids in patients with kidney failure.

Common side effects of Cognialfa-Ds Tablet 10's include increased calcium levels, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and abdominal pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time.
