Cortel LN Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. Hypertension is a medical condition in which the blood pressure is elevated persistently in the arteries without any known cause.

Cortel LN Tablet contains Telmisartan, which works by blocking the action of a hormone called angiotensin II in the body. This hormone causes blood vessels to narrow, leading to high blood pressure.
