About Cotar Lotion
Cotar Lotion is primarily used to treat dandruff and control seborrheic dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Dandruff is a flaky, itchy scalp without signs of inflammation.
Cotar Lotion is composed of ketoconazole and coal tar. Ketoconazole works by stopping the growth of dandruff-causing fungi. Coal tar works by removing dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slowing down the growth of skin cells.
