Decofine Topical Spray

Decofine Topical Spray is used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and pain of osteoarthritis of joints. It reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint.

Decofine Topical Spray contains diclofenac, methyl salicylate, linseed oil, and menthol. Decofine Topical Spray works by first cooling the skin and then warming it up, which interferes with the pain signal transmission through nerves.

Some common side effects of Decofine Topical Spray are burning, itching, redness, stinging, and dryness on your skin in the place where Decofine Topical Spray is applied. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Decofine Topical Spray should be used for skin only, and if it accidentally gets into your eye, mouth, or nose, rinse with water. Decofine Topical Spray is contraindicated in children below two years of age. In addition, caution must be exercised when treating older children (2-12 years).

• Arthritis Management: Decofine Topical Spray helps manage arthritis symptoms by reducing pain, inflammation, and stiffness, allowing for more comfortable joint movement.

• Decofine Topical Spray is for topical (skin surface) use only.
• It is typically applied 3-4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor.
• Wash your hands with soap and water before applying Decofine Topical Spray. Apply a small amount of Decofine Topical Spray to the affected area with a piece of clean cotton wool or gauze swab and gently rub it in.
• Avoid taking a shower for at least 1 hour after application.
• If Decofine Topical Spray accidentally comes in contact with your eyes, mouth, or nose, rinse with water thoroughly.
• Do not apply it to open wounds, or use external heat or occlusive dressings on the treated joints.

• Use of Decofine Topical Spray is contraindicated in the people who have asthma, liver disease, kidney disease, stomach/intestine problems (bleeding, ulcers, Crohn's disease), cardiovascular diseases (heart attack, high blood pressure, stroke), swelling (oedema, fluid retention), blood disorders (such as anaemia), bleeding/clotting problems.
• Decofine Topical Spray should not be given to children less than 2 years of age.
• The use of Decofine Topical Spray should be done with caution in the elderly as they have a high risk of kidney damage and gastrointestinal bleeding.
