Deprid 50 Tablet is used in the treatment of depression and nocturnal enuresis (bed-wetting in children). The detailed uses of Deprid 50 Tablet are as follows:

• Treatment of Depression: Deprid 50 Tablet is used to treat depression, working by restoring the balance of certain natural substances (neurotransmitters) in the brain, which helps improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression.
• Treatment of Bedwetting: Deprid 50 Tablet is used to treat bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis) in children, helping to control the bladder and reduce bedwetting incidents.
• Management of Anxiety and Panic Disorders: Deprid 50 Tablet may also be used to manage symptoms of anxiety and panic disorders, helping to reduce feelings of anxiety and fear.

Deprid 50 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called tricyclic anti-depressants. Deprid 50 Tablet is used to treat depression. Deprid 50 Tablet works by increasing the activity of certain natural substances in the brain needed for mental balance, thereby regulating mood and treating depression. Additionally, Deprid 50 Tablet is used as an adjunct therapy in reducing bed-wetting at night in children aged 6-7 years and older. Deprid 50 Tablet helps to control childhood enuresis or bed-wetting as a part of its anti-depressant effect.

• Deprid 50 Tablet can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Your doctor will determine the dosage and timing of this medication based on your medical condition.
• Swallow Deprid 50 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush or chew this medication.

• Maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly as it helps in improving overall health and boosts self-esteem.
• Regularly attend therapy sessions.

Avoid taking buprenorphine/opioids with Deprid 50 Tablet as it could lead to serotonin syndrome. Inform your doctor if you have/had schizophrenia or manic depression, alcohol withdrawal, enlarged prostate, overactive thyroid, epilepsy, low blood pressure, poor circulation, panic attacks, a tumour of the adrenal gland, or if you are being given electroconvulsive therapy. Talk to your doctor immediately if you have suicidal thoughts such as killing or harming yourself. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid driving or operating machinery as Deprid 50 Tablet may cause impaired alertness, drowsiness, or blurred vision. Deprid 50 Tablet is not recommended for children below 6 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Deprid 50 Tablet as it could lead to increased drowsiness. Rise slowly from sitting or lying position as Deprid 50 Tablet causes dizziness on standing suddenly.
