Dermi 5 Cream 5 gm is used to treat skin infections caused by bacteria and fungi. Bacterial skin infection occurs when bacteria enter the body through broken skin. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection.

Dermi 5 Cream 5 gm contains Clobetasol Propionate, Gentamicin, Tolnaftate, Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline, and Clotrimazole. Clobetasol Propionate works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Gentamicin works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Tolnaftate works by stopping the growth of fungi that cause skin infections. Iodochlorhydroxyquinoline belongs to the class of antifungals with additional antibacterial action. In some cases, Dermi 5 Cream 5 gm may cause side effects such as skin peeling, dryness, burning sensation, irritation, stinging sensation, itching and redness at the site of application.
