Digene Assorted Tablet 15's is used to relieve various gastrointestinal symptoms caused by excess stomach acid and gas. The detailed uses of Digene Assorted Tablet 15's include:

• Treatment of acidity and heartburn: Digene Assorted Tablet 15's helps neutralize stomach acid, providing quick relief from acid reflux and burning sensation in the chest or throat.
• Relief from indigestion and upset stomach: Digene Assorted Tablet 15's aids in soothing the stomach lining and improving digestion, especially after heavy meals or dietary disturbances.
• Management of gastritis: Digene Assorted Tablet 15's reduces inflammation in the stomach lining, relieving pain, discomfort, and bloating associated with gastritis.
• Reduction of gas and bloating: Simethicone in Digene Assorted Tablet 15's helps break up gas bubbles in the gut, providing relief from bloating, pressure, and flatulence.

Digene Assorted Tablet 15's belongs to a group of medicines called antacids used to treat acidity, heartburn, indigestion, gastritis (inflammation of the stomach), and stomach upset. Digene Assorted Tablet 15's is a combination of three drugs: Aluminium hydroxide (antacid), magnesium hydroxide (antacid) and dimethicone (antiflatulent). Aluminium hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide work by neutralising excess stomach acid. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract.

• Digene Assorted Tablet 15's should be taken after a meal.
• It is usually taken 1-2 times daily as needed, preferably between meals and at bedtime, or as advised by your doctor.
• Check the label for directions before using Digene Assorted Tablet 15's.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Take the suggested dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided with the pack.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Eat smaller meals more often.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increases acidity and heartburn.
• Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercising.
• Avoid lying down after eating to prevent acid reflux.
• Avoid tight-fitting clothes as it might increase the pressure on the abdomen leading to acid reflux.
• Practise relaxation techniques and avoid stress by doing yoga or meditation.
• Avoid foods such as high-fat food, spicy food, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomato, onion, garlic, tea and soda. 
• Avoid sitting continuously as it may trigger acidity. Take a break of 5minutes break every hour by doing brisk walking or stretching.

Do not take Digene Assorted Tablet 15's if you are allergic to any of its contents, debilitated (very weak), if you have kidney problems, severe stomach pain partially or fully blocked bowel. Inform your doctor before taking Digene Assorted Tablet 15's if you have low phosphate levels, high magnesium levels, kidney or liver problems, if you are on a low-phosphate diet. Consult your doctor before taking Digene Assorted Tablet 15's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Digene Assorted Tablet 15's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Digene Assorted Tablet 15's as it could lead to increased acidity.
