Digeraft XT Mint Flavour Oral Suspension 150 ml

Digeraft XT Mint Suspension is used to prevent and treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms, such as heartburn and indigestion. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus). This backflow (acid reflux) irritates the food pipe and causes heartburn.

Digeraft XT Mint Suspension contains Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate and Sodium Alginate. It forms a protective layer on top of the stomach contents. This layer prevents reflux and keeps the stomach contents away from the food pipe lining, relieving heartburn symptoms and acid indigestion.

Take Digeraft XT Mint Suspension as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Digeraft XT Mint Suspension for as long as your doctor has advised it for you based on your medical condition. Digeraft XT Mint Suspension may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects of Digeraft XT Mint Suspension do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to sodium alginate, potassium hydrogen carbonate, or any other ingredients in Digeraft XT Mint Suspension . If you have been advised to have a low-salt or controlled potassium diet, inform your doctor before taking Digeraft XT Mint Suspension . Do not take more than the recommended dose, as too much of an intake of Digeraft XT Mint Suspension may cause bloating and some abdominal discomfort. 

Digeraft XT Mint Suspension is used in the treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The detailed uses of Digeraft XT Mint Suspension are as follows:

• Prevent acid reflux: Digeraft XT Mint Suspension is used to prevent and relieve the symptoms of acid reflux.
• Relieve the symptoms: Digeraft XT Mint Suspension relieve the symptoms of conditions such as hiatus hernia (protrusion of muscle through a muscle wall), reflux oesophagitis (inflamed foodpipe) and symptoms of hoarseness and other voice disorders, sore throat and cough associated with reflux.
• Control heartburn symptoms: It can also be taken to control heartburn symptoms which may occur when taking, or following withdrawal of medication to reduce stomach acid such as Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) or H2 Antagonists.

• Digeraft XT Mint Suspension should be taken after meals.
• It is recommended to take Digeraft XT Mint Suspension once daily, at bedtime, or as advised by your doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Measure the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided with the pack and administer it orally.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.
