Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml is used to prevent and treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) symptoms, such as heartburn and indigestion. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus). This backflow (acid reflux) irritates the food pipe and causes heartburn.

Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml contains Potassium Hydrogen Carbonate and Sodium Alginate. It forms a protective layer on top of the stomach contents. This layer prevents reflux and keeps the stomach contents away from the food pipe lining, relieving heartburn symptoms and acid indigestion.

Take Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml for as long as your doctor has advised it for you based on your medical condition. Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects of Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to sodium alginate, potassium hydrogen carbonate, or any other ingredients in Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml. If you have been advised to have a low-salt or controlled potassium diet, inform your doctor before taking Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml. Do not take more than the recommended dose, as too much of an intake of Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml may cause bloating and some abdominal discomfort. 

Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml is used in the treatment of Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The detailed uses of Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml are as follows:

• Prevent acid reflux: Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml is used to prevent and relieve the symptoms of acid reflux.
• Relieve the symptoms: Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml relieve the symptoms of conditions such as hiatus hernia (protrusion of muscle through a muscle wall), reflux oesophagitis (inflamed foodpipe) and symptoms of hoarseness and other voice disorders, sore throat and cough associated with reflux.
• Control heartburn symptoms: It can also be taken to control heartburn symptoms which may occur when taking, or following withdrawal of medication to reduce stomach acid such as Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs) or H2 Antagonists.

• Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml should be taken after meals.
• It is recommended to take Entoraft Oral Suspension 150 ml once daily, at bedtime, or as advised by your doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Measure the prescribed dose using the measuring cup provided with the pack and administer it orally.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.
