Clobetasol propionate is a corticosteroid that blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic medicine (that softens, separates, and causes peeling of the cornified epithelium or horny layer of skin). It increases the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolves the substance that causes the skin cells to stick together.

Common side effects of Dipren-S Lotion 40 ml include itching, dryness, and a burning sensation at the application site. These side effects are temporary and gradually resolve over time. • Treatment of Psoriasis: Dipren-S Lotion 40 ml helps manage psoriasis, a condition that causes red, scaly skin patches, by reducing inflammation and slowing down excessive skin cell growth.
• Eczema Relief: Dipren-S Lotion 40 ml provides relief for eczema, calming itchy and inflamed skin with its anti-inflammatory properties, which soothe irritation and reduce itching.
• Treating Dermatitis: Dipren-S Lotion 40 ml treats various inflammatory skin conditions, including contact dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis, by reducing redness, swelling, and discomfort caused by allergic reactions or irritants.

• Apply Dipren-S Lotion 40 ml once or twice a day, as directed by your doctor. Use it at the same time each day for effective results. • Apply a thin layer with clean and dry hands on the skin's affected areas. You can also apply it with clean cotton wool or a gauze swab. Gently rub the medicine into the skin. • Wash your hands before and after using Dipren-S Lotion 40 ml on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.
