Fusiol Ointment is used in the treatment of bacterial skin infections. The detailed uses of Fusiol Ointment are as follows:

• Skin Infections: Fusiol Ointment is used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected eczema and infected dermatitis.
• Treatment of Infected Burns: Fusiol Ointment is used to treat bacterial infections in burns, especially those caused by staphylococcal bacteria. Thus, promotes healing of burn wounds.
• Post-Surgical Wound Care: Fusiol Ointment is also used to prevent bacterial infections after skin surgery or wounds, particularly in cases of open cuts or wounds.

Fusiol Ointment belongs to the group of medicines called ‘antibiotics’ used to treat bacterial skin infections such as impetigo, infected cuts and abrasions, infected eczema and contact dermatitis. Fusiol Ointment contains ‘Sodium fusidate’ that works by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, Fusiol Ointment helps in treating skin infections. Fusiol Ointment is indicated for treating and prophylaxis of skin infections caused by Staphylococcus bacteria.
