Glisen SM 1 Tablet 15's is an antidiabetic medicine used to treat type II diabetes. Type II Diabetes Mellitus is a serious condition wherein the body doesn’t use insulin effectively, which causes unusual blood glucose levels.

Glisen SM 1 Tablet 15's contains Metformin (biguanides), which works by reducing the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestine; Sitagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor), which works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high and Glimepiride (sulfonylureas) works by stimulating beta cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. What if I have taken an overdose of Glisen SM 1 Tablet 15's

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Glisen SM 1 Tablet 15's may include severe gastrointestinal problems, low blood sugar reactions, nausea, vomiting, lethargy, and abdominal pain. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Glisen SM 1 Tablet 15's should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the medicines or the components in it.
