Ibies 1% Lotion belongs to a class of medications called anthelmintics. It is used to treat lesions of Rosacea. Rosacea is a long-term medical condition that mostly affects the skin of the face, causing redness on the forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose.
Ibies 1% Lotion contains Ivermectin, which acts as an anti-inflammatory drug. Ibies 1% Lotion helps calm the skin and reduce irritation and redness associated with rosacea. Ivermectin also has antiparasitic properties and thus acts against Demodex mites which may contribute to rosacea symptoms.
Ibies 1% Lotion is for external use only. In some cases, the Ibies 1% Lotion may cause dryness, burning, itching, redness, or stinging of the skin as side effects. Most of these side effects eventually resolve over time without the need for medical intervention. Consult your doctor if any side effects worsen or persist.
