About Ivernol Shampoo
Ivernol Shampoo belongs to a class of medications called anthelmintics. It is used to treat lesions of Rosacea. Rosacea is a long-term medical condition that mostly affects the skin of the face, causing redness on the forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose.
Ivernol Shampoo contains Ivermectin, which acts as an anti-inflammatory drug. Ivernol Shampoo helps calm the skin and reduce irritation and redness associated with rosacea. Ivermectin also has antiparasitic properties and thus acts against Demodex mites which may contribute to rosacea symptoms.
Ivernol Shampoo is for external use only. In some cases, the Ivernol Shampoo may cause dryness, burning, itching, redness, or stinging of the skin as side effects.
